Hair should be shiny and well-groomed without any crushed or split ends, frizz, or faded color. Put our tips into practice and you can look forward to beautiful hair.
Everybody would like to have a full head of hair. There are many causes for hair loss. Hormonal changes (e. g. after pregnancy), illness and the resulting weakening of the organism (including the use of certain medications), genetic predisposition, stress, poor diet or skin diseases (dandruff, folliculitis) may contribute to hair loss.
But that is not all. We ourselves may be responsible for losing our hair through improperly performed hairdressing or styling procedures, ill-suited products, tugging on your hair, tying it up tightly or exposing it to bad weather conditions. We tell you what to do to make sure your hair does not fall out.
The first thing you should do is change your eating habits. What we eat affects the condition of our skin, nails and hair. Restrictive diets have a damaging effect on your skin and nails and weaken them even more.
How to prevent this? First of all, your plate should be full of products rich in iron, zinc, potassium, vitamins A, B, C and E as well as fatty acids on a daily basis and in large quantities. Eat millet, unroasted buckwheat, and barley groats, as many vegetables, legumes, and seasonal fruits as possible, as well as cocoa, eggs, liver, and red meat.
If you find that changing your diet is not enough, then include supplements. They will replenish deficiencies, strengthen hair follicles, and improve microcirculation. Start with home remedies, namely yeast. Drinking them regularly can bring amazing results. Field horsetail and nettle are also very effective. It is also worth supplementing zinc, B vitamins and fish oil. If you decide on ready-made products from the drugstore, you should carefully analyze their composition in order to choose the best product, which will actually help you.
An unsuitable brush or comb may damage the hair and scalp structure and lead to breakage and weakening. The way you comb your hair is important. Always start at the ends, which are most tangled, and work your way slowly up to the roots. On no account should you make sudden movements or jerk the hair.
Wet hair is best combed with a wide-toothed comb, and dry hair is best brushed with a brush that is designed to glide through your hair smoothly without pulling it.
Weak hair not only requires gentle brushing but also gentle washing. Rubbing the scalp vigorously with your fingers or a towel is out of the question here too.
First dilute the shampoo with water and then massage the scalp and wet hair with your pads. A conditioner or mask or home remedies for hair loss, namely masks and herbal infusions will also help. Natural ingredients perfectly penetrate hair strands and roots, helping them to regenerate and regain vitality. For this purpose, we can use dissolved yeast, egg yolks with honey or oil, or natural yogurt with avocado. The mentioned field horsetail and nettle, hops or burdock root will also work well.
Forget about rubbing your hair with a towel (just squeeze out excess water) and drying with hot air. Always choose a cool setting and keep the use of flat irons and curling irons to a minimum. If you must use them, set the heat to minimum and protect your hair with heat protectant beforehand.
Avoid tying your hair up in a tight, high chignon or ponytail. Protect your hair from external factors like frost, heat, sun and even strong wind.
Finally, there is the matter of hair care products. Choose cosmetics dedicated to your hair type – anti-hair loss, rich in moisturizing and strengthening agents. The best will be dermocosmetics with a great composition, full of active ingredients.
